Musty rooms, damp corridors, mould: fixed at the source
Thailand's outdoor air sits at 74 to 85% humidity all year, and the coast can pass 90% in the rainy season. Air conditioning alone often leaves rooms cold and damp. We measure the problem in your building, explain it in a written report, and fix it: fresh air, humidity control, and air conditioning that is sized, set and serviced to dry the air. Anywhere in Thailand, Hua Hin and Phuket included, with our own teams in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Koh Tao and Surat Thani.
What guests and housekeeping notice
- A musty smell in rooms, even with the air conditioning running
- Mould on walls or ceilings
- Rooms that feel cold and damp at the same time
- Condensation on windows, warped wooden furniture or floors
What we do
- 1Tell us which rooms and corridors, and when the smell or damp appears. A call or a short form is enough; no drawings needed.
- 2An on-site survey: we measure humidity, CO2, PM2.5 and mould risk where your guests are.
- 3A written report with recommendations for your building.
- 4We quote and do the work: fresh air with heat recovery, units that control humidity, air conditioning repair, replacement and cleaning, and marine-grade equipment by the sea.
Three numbers to share with your owners
- Rooms are healthiest between 40 and 60% humidity. Above 60%, mould can start on warm surfaces within 24 to 48 hours.
- An air conditioner set to 18 to 20°C cools fast and switches off before it has dried the air. At 24 to 26°C it runs longer, dries more and uses less energy overall.
- Fresh air with heat recovery cuts the cooling load of outside air by 40 to 60%.
